ARHATIC RETREAT AT BANGALORE

Dear Arhatic Yogis,

Namaste and greetings from the Karnataka Foundation. We will be organising an Arhatic Yoga Retreat by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui in January and February 2005. The retreat will be for 7 days – an incredible opportunity for us to be with the guru, meditation, discourses and spiritual growth for an entire week! The eligibility to attend the retreat is:

  • Arhatic Yogis practising Arhatic Prep can attend the first 3 days of the retreat, i.e. from Friday, 28th January to Sunday, 30th January 2005. People who have only taken the course Meditations for Soul Realisation are not eligible to attend the retreat.
  • Arhatic Yogis practising Arhatic Levels 1 & 2 or higher can attend all 7 days.

In case you are not an Arhatic Yogi, we will be organising an Arhatic Yoga Preparatory Level course at Bangalore, to be conducted by Asst. Master Daniel Gorgonia on the 22nd and 23rd of January, 2005. (Details enclosed)

If you want to attend the entire 7-day retreat and are eligible for Arhatic Yoga Levels 1 & 2, you can attend the course at Bangalore on the 26th and 27th of January, 2005. This course will also be conducted by Asst. Master Daniel Gorgonia. (Details enclosed.)

To enable the maximum number of Arhatic Yogis to participate, we have done our best to keep the costs as low as possible, as you can see in the table below, the cost for the entire 7 day - 6 night retreat is as low as Rs 13,900 ALL INCLUSIVE! (exchange rate is approximately US$ 1 = Rs 45.50)

Accommodation

The retreat will be held at the Angsana Resort, a beautiful property situated just 23 km from the heart of Bangalore. It a peaceful and quiet place, with lots of open space and greenery – perfect for a retreat. Accommodation at Angsana is on a 3-sharing basis and is restricted to participants attending all 7 days of the retreat. Arhatic Yogis attending only the General Retreat will be accommodated at either of the other 2 resorts.

As there are limited rooms at Angsana, we have made arrangements for accommodation at two other resorts.

Silver Oak is a resort adjacent to Angsana. The distance from the conference hall of Angsana (where the retreat will be held) to the rooms at Silver Oak is just 1 km. We will provide transport, if required, from Silver Oak to Angsana on all mornings and back at night. Accommodation at Silver Oak is on a 4-sharing basis.

Doddi’s is a resort about 8 km away from Angsana. The rooms are large, airy and bright and have been recently renovated. We will provide transport from Doddi’s to Angsana every morning and back every night. Accommodation is on a 3-sharing basis.

Please note that as we have a limited number of rooms, we will not be able to entertain requests for single occupancy. There are very few double occupancy rooms at Angsana which are being reserved for Master’s senior disciples. Therefore, all accommodation will be on a 3-sharing or 4-sharing basis.

The latest book from Grand Master Choa Kok Sui is entitled 'Om Mani Padme Hum: The Blue Pearl In the Golden Lotus'.

The Mantra 'Om Mani Padme Hum' is one of more popular mantras in use the world over. However, other than its literal translation, “The jewel in the lotus”, few understand what the mantra really means.

In his latest book, Grand Master Choa Kok Sui reveals the secret meaning behind the mantra. The esoteric meanings of the mantra, the true meaning of the jewel and the golden lotus, and what each one represents are explained. The revelation of these secrets has imbued the book with a tremendous amount of spiritual energy, making it a collector's item for the serious spiritual aspirant. An added bonus in the book is the portraits of Mahaguruji Mei Ling, Master Choa's Teacher.

Many of the topics that will be covered in the 2-day course are normally revealed only to senior students in the Arhatic courses and retreats. This is a fantastic and rare opportunity for all Pranic Healers (even Basic Pranic Healing graduates) to spend 2 days with Master, study from the Guru himself and learn about things normally taught only to Arhatic students.

Points to remember

  • As per Master’s instructions, participation in the 2 retreats to be held in India next year will be restricted, to ensure that it does not get too crowded.

All Arhatic Yogis from outside India and the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Goa and Karnataka are to attend only the retreat at Bangalore. They are not to attend the retreat at the Ashram site.

All Arhatic Yogis from other parts of India are to attend only the retreat at the Ashram site, and not the one at Bangalore. These instructions are to be strictly followed.

  • January / February is the peak tourist season in India. In Bangalore, there are several conferences and an aero show during this period and many hotels are already fully booked. Therefore, if you need accommodation before or after the retreat, please make arrangements as early as possible. For accommodation before and / or after the retreat, we can help make the bookings, but you will need to make the payment directly to the hotel.

Please note that the Arhatic Yoga Preparatory Level, Arhatic Yoga Levels 1 and 2 and the OM Mani Padme Hum courses do not include accommodation. If you need help in making hotel bookings, please contact us.

  • Due to the lack of accommodation, we will be able to handle slightly more than 300 participants for the retreat, so please register early.

  • All retreat participants are required to fill up and sign the enclosed Oath of Secrecy and send it in with your application form.
